SBU Sixth Form A-level Maths students are supporting eachother with peer-to-peer teaching in an innovative learning format put together by their tutor Yamen Jarida. In each topic, the students who are picking it up the quickest help others in the class with practical exercises to re-enforce the learning. This takes place under the guidance of Maths tutor Yamen, who says: “This kind of approach helps everyone. Students excelling with a topic get to develop skills at explaining and supporting others, while their classmates benefit from the more personal support. As their teacher I love hearing the different ways my students come up with to help their peers understand a tricky process!”
