Our courses have minimum entry qualifications, set to ensure you have the best chance of success and study the right course for you.
Our standard entry qualifications for September 2026 start are:
A Levels: 5 GCSEs at grade 6 including English Language, Maths and two or more science subjects (or Double Science)
T-levels: 5 GCSEs at grade 5 including English Language, Maths and one or more science subjects (or Double Science)
BTEC: 5 GCSEs at grade 4 including English Language and Maths
Foundation: 5 GCSEs at grade 3 including English Language and Maths
International GCSE (iGCSE) qualifications are accepted as an alternative.
GCSE Maths and English
For those aged 16 to 19, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) requires that students who have not achieved a grade 4 or higher in GCSE maths and/or English must continue studying these subjects as part of their study programme. If you have not achieved grade 4 or above in those subjects, GCSE maths and/or English will be automatically added to your timetable.
