SBU Sixth Form wishes all students, colleagues, partners and friends a restful break.
Information on the closure period in May 2026
Friday 22 May: scheduled lessons finish at lunchtime.
Monday 25 May: Bank holiday, building closed
Tuesday 26 May – Friday 29 May: Only those students who have been asked to attend by their tutor for particular sessions should come to the sixth form.
Monday 1 June (until Friday 3 July) SBU Sixth Form is open with students attending for lessons and exams as advised by their tutors.
Making good use of your time
We hope all students enjoy the break and get the opportunity for a rest. The break also allows you an opportunity to catch up on any work missed, revise key topics and prepare for crucial exams and assessments taking place after half term.
