T-Levels: A New Pathway to Success at South Bank University Sixth Form

Are you finishing your GCSEs and looking for an alternative to A-Levels or an apprenticeship? T-Levels at South Bank University Sixth Form could be the perfect fit for you.

What are T-Levels?

T-Levels are a new, 2-year qualification that combines classroom learning with an extended industry placement. They are designed with businesses and employers to give you the skills and knowledge that companies are looking for. You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on a 45-day placement with an employer.

One T-Level is equivalent in size to 3 A-Levels, making them a great choice for students who want to gain technical expertise in a specific field. The first T-Levels have already started at selected schools and colleges in England, with more coming in the following years.

T-Level Transition Programme

If you’re interested in pursuing a T-Level, but need more time to prepare, the T-Level Transition Programme could be the right choice for you. This 1-year post-GCSE course gives you the knowledge, practical skills, and work experience you need to excel in your chosen T-Level.
