London, Friday 13th – South Bank University Sixth Form (SBUSixth) students had a memorable experience this week as they embarked on a journey into the heart of Bloomberg’s state-of-the-art offices located in the bustling city of London. This visit provided a unique opportunity for our Year 13 business students to explore the myriad of apprenticeships the global financial data giant has to offer.
Bloomberg, primarily recognised for its financial data specialisation, unfolded a panorama of opportunities that left our students enlightened. Beyond the financial realm, they were introduced to an array of exciting entry points ranging from broadcast production, project management, human resources, to innovative areas such as infrastructure technology, digital solutions, and audio-visual roles.
The afternoon commenced with an engaging introduction about Bloomberg, detailing its operations and influential impact in the global market. Taking the enlightenment a notch higher, a specialist from the financial markets division shed light on how Bloomberg assists its vast clientele.
However, the highlight of the day was undeniably the panel discussion.
