Welcome to the courses page for South Bank University Sixth Form! We offer a range of pathways to help students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Year 12 Pathways
We have 5 Pathways: Technical, Academic, T-Level, Academic Medicine and Resit.
Level 2 pathway | Health or Business & Finance or Engineering. With resit maths and/or English.
Technical Level 3 pathway (equivalent to 3 A-Levels)
Course options – Health, business or engineering.
A-Level pathway | Either 3 or 4 Subjects: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, BTEC Engineering extended certificate, BTEC Business & Finance extended certificate, BTEC Health extended certificate.
T-Level pathway | T-level Foundation, T-levels in health, accounting or design and development for engineering and manufacturing (mechanical engineering).
You can also combine A-Levels with a BTEC extended certificate in engineering, health or business & finance.
Level 2 Pathway
Our Level 2 pathway is ideal for students who have completed their GCSEs and are looking to gain hands-on experience in the fields of health, business, or engineering. This pathway includes resit opportunities for math and/or English.
Level 3 Pathway
For students looking to take their education to the next level, we offer a Technical Level 3 pathway. This qualification is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and allows students to specialize in health, business, or engineering.
A-Level Pathway
Our A-Level pathway offers students the opportunity to choose between 3 or 4 subjects, including math, physics, chemistry, and biology. We also offer BTEC extended certificates in engineering, business & finance, and health for students who want to combine academic study with hands-on learning.
T-Level Pathway
Finally, we offer T-Level pathways, including a T-Level foundation course and T-Levels in health, accounting, and design and development for engineering and manufacturing (mechanical engineering).
No matter which pathway students choose, they can be confident that they will receive a high-quality education and gain valuable skills and experience that will set them up for success in their future careers.
