LSBU Vice-Chancellor visits SBU Sixth

Paul Kett, London South Bank University’s Vice-Chancellor and Group CEO, visited SBU Sixth today (3 December 2025). In his first visit to SBUSixth since taking up the role recently, Paul met with students from all subject areas and sampled lessons including engineering, science and health.

The tour was lead by student leaders Karam, Michelle and Abdulsalam, and as well as spending time in classes, Paul enjoyed half an hour chatting with the student leadership here at SBU about their experiences and views.

Following the tour, Paul then spent time with staff from the Sixth Form, discussing the future direction of the LSBU group and answering questions about his plans. SBU Sixth Principal Kishan Pithia said, “We’re delighted to have hosted Paul today. The students presented our technical pathways at their best, and I know from our conversations this has left a profound impact on the VC. The discussion covered his plans for increasing partnerships, widening access and transforming the way we work across the different parts of the group. It’s an exciting time in the SBU group and fantastic that students and staff have had this opportunity to chat with Paul.”
